the Sight and YOU (permissions post)

Dancy Flammarion is a crazy backwoods zealot from a spooky Magical Realist/Southern Gothic/Cosmic Horror mashup. She kills monsters, and she has "the Sight" - but she's also kind of crazy whenever we get an outside POV on her. She can recognize "monsters" even when they appear human (and occasionally Just Knows little things about them, particularly names). Her sight explicitly does NOT tell her what a magical creature's strengths and weaknesses are. In canon, this knowledge/vision is very real. But I'm also interested in the interpretation that she's obsessive and not totally stable, and gets it wrong sometimes - but also that there's a middle ground where she's perceiving the world on a slightly different symbolic/magical realist wavelength.

Please fill out the following so I know how much it's OK for Dancy to get right or wrong about your character!

1. Is your character LITERALLY non-human? If so, what are they, and is it okay if Dancy can See this? What would the visual description be for whatever they really are? 2. Is your character METAPHORICALLY or THEMATICALLY strongly associated with any demonic, monstrous, or folkloric figure? Are you okay with Dancy assuming they are really That Thing, and what would the visual representation of that thing be? 3. Is your character totally normal, but you like the idea of Dancy occasionally/potentially having Bad Vibes about them and being totally wrong for the lulz? LET ME KNOW. 4. Can Dancy Mysteriously Just Know your character's name, or are there other details you're interested in her knowing?
